Helical Screw-pile

Helical pile made from steel tube and helix. Tube size and helix size, thickness depends on soil type and structure reaction. The standard pile is 6m long module and connected to each module by their bolted joint based on site condition. The standard pile is 6m long module and connected to each module by either bolted joint or welding joint based on site condition. Pile can be any length based on design requirement. Helical pile and pile cap joint can be prefabricated tube cap or onsite direct welding with rebar (based on development length).

Standard Load Transfer Mechanism

Helical Pile has the advance technology of transfer load by end bearing of multiple Helix at multiple layers of soil depends of appropriate soil layer; whereas conventional pile can only end bearing at bottom of the Pile. When Tension/Uplift is the governing force, conventional pile can contribute any bearing effect and this require higher size and cost.

Approach towards Green-Technology:

Since Helical Pile is much lighter than conventional Pile, so use of steel is much lower. Also in Pile work no use of cement, sand and water. Altogether the carbon emission is almost 50% lower than conventional pile work. For Conventional Pile work, during casting huge heat generated and carbon emission occurred. These all can be avoided if Helical Pile is used.
